Services

Trucks & Trailers

Three axle alignments are popular for most trucks. It includes aligning the tandems to the frame and centering, checking and adjusting steer axle caster and camber, and adjusting steer axle toe. To properly align a vehicle, we first check spring pins, wheel bearings, tire rods, drag link and kingpins. If we find any issues, we notify the customer to approve repair or to make a recommendation. It's important to note shock absorbers can have a major impact on handling, especially on the front, and we recommend replacing them every 120,000 miles or yearly. Normally, trucks will need steer axle camber adjustments the first time in. This usually takes 30 minutes to one hour to complete. Trailer alignments include aligning the axles to the kingpin. All vehicles are test driven to verify proper alignment. All vehicles are aligned to Bee Line specification, a more accurate and narrow alignment margin than manufacturer specifications.

Cars

We have the capability to align most small trucks and cars. The four wheel alignment is popular and provides the best results for vehicles with independent rear suspension. We can bend solid rear axles, but in most cases it is not recommended as it requres removing the axle and labor is charged by the hour. If you prefer, we can determine if a four wheel alignment is possible for your vehicle and you can be assured we will not charge for work we don't do. The four wheel alignment includes checking and adjusting caster, camber and toe for the front and rear tires. The front wheel alignment includes checking and adjusting caster, camber and toe for the front. Vehicles without adjustable caster and camber already installed may require a kit to correct the alignment if it's not within specification. To properly align a vehicle, we first check tire rods, wheel bearings and ball joints. If we find any issues, we notify the customer to approve repair or to make a recommendation. All vehicles are test driven to verify proper alignment. All vehicles are aligned to Bee Line specification, a more accurate and narrow alignment margin than manufacturer specifications.

Buses, RVs & Other

Steer axle alignments are popular for most straight type vehicles. Some vehicles allow the rear axle to be adjusted, call for questions. Steer axle alignment includes checking caster and camber, and adjusting toe. Normally, vehicles will need steer axle camber adjustments the first time in. This usually takes 30 minutes to one hour to complete for solid axles. To properly align a vehicle, we first check spring pins, wheel bearings, tire rods, drag link and kingpins. If we find any issues, we notify the customer to approve repair or to make a recommendation. All vehicles are test driven to verify proper alignment. All vehicles are aligned to Bee Line specification, a more accurate and narrow alignment margin than manufacturer specifications.

Oil Change & Service Work

Centrimatics & Nitrogen Inflation

We are a Centrimatic dealer. Centrimatics are a cost effective way to minimize tire imbalances. They are mounted inbetween the tire rim and drum and reusable between tire changes. We keep in stock Centrimatics for wheel sizes 19, 22 and 24. Upon request we can order Centrimatics for cars or other wheel sizes, call for more information.

We also provide nitrogen inflation for tires. Tires inflated with nitrogen run cooler and reduce the risk of blowouts. Recapped tires will benefit the most from nitrogen inflation.

Axle Correction

We perform correction on drive and steer axles. The axle can be brought in with the vehicle or the axle can be removed from the vehicle and brought in. To perform correction, we bend the axle to proper specification provided by Bee Line for most efficient camber and toe. The size of axles we can bend range from axles on personal vehicles to class 8 truck axles. This process takes about a day to complete with an axle attached to a vehicle and a couple hours to complete with an axle already stripped from a vehicle. Axle Doctor

We perform correction on worn steer axle eyelets where the kingpin rests. To do this we smooth bore a new, larger hole that we insert a sleeve into to allow standard size kingpins to be used. With the Axle Doctor, we are also able to smooth bore out steering knuckles to insert sleeves to remove extra movement in the steering system. For more information or pricing, contact Ryan at (217) 682-3631 or by email here.
